Finding it hard to get work done with your mini egg at your feet? We know the feeling. It's why we've got a monthly egg & co-working day at our HQ in Edinburgh where the professional childcare is included, and it's all about allowing our lovely eggs some breathing room upstairs in the co-working space. We're breaking down barriers here, people!
We're really proud that these monthly events are sponsored by our partners at RBS, who have a real focus on supporting women entrepreneurs. As you know, this is our bag too, so it makes for us to partner up together and do this as often as we can for you.
Here's what your entry price gets you:
- Childcare for 1 child provided by Tinies in a safe, cosy room downstairs
- Yummy lunch, on us
- A chance to meet other like-minded mums and eggs in our co-working space upstairs
- A 'borrow my brain' session at lunchtime. A very cool concept where we'll get together and use the hive mind to solve any sticky business issues together.
You don't even have to have a child in tow to join us on the day. It's a step up from our regular co-working day pass as you get lunch and the brainstorming session included. What's not to love!?
The nitty, gritty details:
- Tinies are our trusted childcare providers, led by Martine and Jacques, operating in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Martine has been at each co-working day and has helped us welcome 26 children so far, many who have never attended childcare before.
- Children between 0-10 years are welcome and we've got space for 1 child per mum
- Co-working happens on the first floor and children are looked after downstairs. It's a secure space, but you can pop down anytime to see them.
- You will need to pack lunch for the little ones, along with sufficient nappies and wipes.
- We're located on Union Street, just off Broughton Street. It's an 8 minute walk from Waverley, a few minutes from the tram, and there's metered parking on Forth Street. You can also rent a driveway for the day and find parking deals.
