Loretto is a leading independent co-educational school for boarding and day pupils, where 99% of school leavers go on to their destination of choice. Situated to the east of Edinburgh, our leafy 85-acre campus is home to around 500 girls and boys and combines history and tradition with incredible opportunities for the modern world. Life changing!
We sent our son to Loretto in 2018 and it was nothing short of life changing for him, I cannot recommend the school more highly. In 2021, we decided to send our daughter to a girls only school as we wanted her to experience single sex education, but she was miserable. The culture and proactiveness of the school fell far short of Loretto so in early 2024 we moved her too. Within days of arriving at Loretto she was back to her happy self with a lovely group of friends and making the most of all of the extra-curricular activities that are included in the fees. It's a wonderful school.
