Angela Moffat Artist

Angela Moffat is a self-taught landscape artist based in her hometown of Edinburgh. Originally studying Fashion Design at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design (1987-1990) and Foundation Course at Norwich School of Art (1986 – 1987), she returned to her early passion of painting 5 years ago.

Angela describes herself as a realist and impressionist painter and is inspired by the French Impressionists and British artists like Edward Seago and Ken Howard. Drawing from these influences, she captures the atmosphere and mood of the subject using the play of light and choice of colour.
