We are honoured to welcome two extraordinary women who have transformed their personal tragedies into powerful missions.
In 2020, a tragic swimming pool accident took the life of Darcey Elizabeth Sunshine Doig, just four years old. In the wake of this unimaginable loss, her parents knew that Darcey’s middle name had to become her legacy. They founded The Darcey Sunshine Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness about water safety and preventing future tragedies. We’ll hear from Kirsty Doig, the charity’s founder and Darcey’s mum, about her journey, the impact she’s making, and how she is turning grief into a force for good.
Also joining us is Sophie, the vibrant founder of EARSASS, a bold and empowering brand that was born during lockdown in 2020. Sophie's mission is simple but powerful: to encourage everyone to embrace their sassiness - in all shapes, sizes, and forms, both physically and mentally. But beyond the statement earrings and unapologetic confidence, EARSASS holds a deeper purpose. On April 29, 2023, Sophie lost her beautiful cousin Issy to suicide. In her honour, Sophie has designed a special pair of earrings, with £5 from every pair sold donated to BRAVE MIND, a charity championing mental health awareness in the rugby, university, school, and college communities.

- Who? The event is open to everyone (that means paying members and non-members). We want our ‘Women on Top’ series to reach as many good eggs as possible.
- When? Taking place from 12pm - 2pm
- Dress code? We’re a relaxed and friendly bunch, so there’s no dress code. Just be yourself!
