Julie Grieve - Vistage Chair and Executive Coach
Julie Grieve is the visionary founder and CEO of Criton, the groundbreaking platform revolutionising guest engagement in the hospitality sector, which she sold in 2022.
Julie set up and was CEO of Lateral City, a luxury serviced apartment operator in Scotland when she had the idea for Criton, having been frustrated at how disconnected she found the hospitality technology stack. Prior to Lateral City Julie was the Managing Director of Abbey Business Centres, a serviced office company which she sold to Regus in 2011 But Julie is more than just a tech leader – she’s a fierce advocate for women in business and a driving force for change. As a Vistage Chair and Executive Coach, she mentors senior leaders, sits on the Barclays Eagle Labs Digital Growth Grant Independent Advisory Board, and is a mentor for Techscalers, AccelerateHer, and Barclays Eagle Labs. She’s also an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland, working tirelessly to support female entrepreneurship and innovation.
Kylie Reid - egg Head
Hopefully a familiar name to lots of you already, Kylie is our very own trailblazer who is the founder of egg. You can read her story on our website to get to know her a little better. But in the meantime, she’ll be gearing up to interview Julie about her careers, learnings and top tips for eggs. Sure to make you laugh, Kylie is the ultimate chilled-out host at events and you’ll feel right at home straight away.
Our monthly Women on Top brings together women to connect and get inspired by women leaders of their field as they share their achievements and lows of their entrepreneurial journey. It's a friendly and empowering environment that encourages meaningful connections and networking.
The nitty gritty details - when, where, who, dress code?
- Where? We’re delighted to be hosting the event at Hawksmoor, located in St Andrews Square.
- Who? The event is open to everyone (that means paying members and non-members). We want our ‘Women on Top’ series to reach as many good eggs as possible.
- When? Taking place from 10am - 12pm, we’ll have tea, coffee and pastries available.
- Dress code? We’re a relaxed and friendly bunch, so there’s no dress code. Just be yourself!
You don’t need to be a business owner to attend, it’s open to everyone. Together, we’ll celebrate achievements, share invaluable insights, and importantly forge connections to enrich your professional and personal lives. Come along and expect to have some fun.
