The beautiful Copper Blossom in Edinburgh was buzzing as we kicked off our first Women on Top event of 2025! With coffee cups full, pastries in hand, and a room packed with incredible women, we set the tone for a year of meaningful connections, fresh ideas, and serious inspiration.
From the moment we kicked things off, the energy was infectious. We wanted the morning to be about real connections, and our matchmaking-style networking delivered. Women from all backgrounds came together, eager to find their wing-women for the year ahead—whether to swap skills, share advice, or simply build a strong network of support.
And because we love to mix things up, we introduced a brand-new format: bingo-style networking! It wasn’t just about shaking hands and exchanging business cards, it was about matchmaking in the best way possible. Need help with finances but can trade your social media know-how? Struggling with strategy but love writing copy? Our egg Bingo cards helped everyone connect in a fun, interactive way, matching up skills, advice, selfies and opportunities.

One of our favourite parts of the morning? We chose some of our favourite fun facts and shared them with everyone to help us get to know one another a little better. From hanging out with J Lo to partying with Take That, everyone has some seriously impressive stories to tell.
Adding even more value to the event, good egg Kelly led a dynamic session on perfecting your pitch using the NAME, SAME, FAME, AIM, GAME pitching framework. Whether you were introducing yourself, selling a product, or sharing your big idea, Kelly’s insightful advice and interactive exercises had everyone feeling more confident about their pitches ahead of the speed networking session—ready to step into 2025 with confidence and a whole lot of sass!
