We're looking for an Events Executive to join our team!
About Us
Egg is Scotland’s largest on-line and off-line network, supporting women and businesses through our digital & social platforms, events and most recently egg & co-working, our new home in Edinburgh, and Scotland’s first co-working space for women. We have big ambitions and plans to scale with a strong pipeline of opportunities ahead and are now looking for an Events Executive to be part of this next exciting chapter (and it really is exciting).
What you’ll do:
We are looking to grow with the help of another good egg. Someone who can help with managing our events, keeping our new website up to date, supporting on social media, liaising with our community.
- Welcome and support our co-workers and guests at egg & co
- Manage and run small scale and large scale events at egg & co
- Ensure all events are shared with the relevant team members and our website and CRM systems are kept up to date
- Help to share event updates on social platforms
- Co-ordinate with event suppliers
- Ensure all events run smoothly from start to finish
- Work closely with team members to deliver projects on time
Who you are:
- Highly organised, you love a spreadsheet and open to learning new systems
- With drive & ambition, you love a target, a team player who uses their initiative and enjoys going it alone
- You are familiar with and regularly use social media
- Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same
- You are happy to jump in and support your team when required
- You love supporting local, are confident and curious
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has some experience or a passion for planning and attending events.
Salary starting from 25k for a full time position.
We are also looking for people to join the events team to support us at weekends & evenings. £12.50 per hour.
