If you haven't experienced a Women on Top event before, you're in for a treat. These events are all about empowering women, while also providing free childcare to break down barriers. We recently toured across 5 cities in Scotland, bringing over 500 women together and got shortlisted for the Best Business Event at The Thistle Awards.
Our September event will be a supersized version of our previous events. It’s our biggest event of the year and we’d love you to join us. What to expect
It’s a full day event, 9am – 5pm at Murrayfield Stadium, Roseburn Street, Edinburgh, on Thursday 26th September 2024. Wear what you want, there’s no dress code or formalities. Just a bunch of women looking to get together. And no, you don’t need to be a business owner to attend. It’s open to everyone. Come along and expect to have some fun. It wouldn’t be an #eggevent without some feel-good surprises throughout the day.
Connection and networking
Join hundreds of women from a wide variety of industries. This is your chance to network, chat, listen, learn and make some new friends. egg head Kylie Reid will be hosting lots of candid chats throughout the day but there’ll also be plenty you-time. Lunch, teas and coffees will be provided. There’ll be pitch-side drinks courtesy of the delightful NB Gin too. Cheers to that! If you have little ones in tow, we can provide FREE childcare.*
Be inspired
Hear captivating stories from successful women entrepreneurs and leaders in business and sport. This summit will delve into how they’ve built thriving businesses and overcome barriers unique to women. You’ll also hear stories from those that have successfully transitioned careers – from converting side hustles into full time roles and starting new ventures, it’s all covered and more.

Meet the speakers
Grace Andrews
Grace is the Marketing Director behind the globally renowned The Diary of a CEO brand. She is a marketing and social media guru and will be offering advice, insights and tips to build and scale your brand.
Jamie Genevieve
The Scottish make-up mogul, internet sensation, wife and mum was placed on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2023. Her beauty brand, VIEVE, adopts a contemporary, digital-first approach that has revolutionized the eCommerce, social media, and beauty landscapes.
Emily Lui
Food obsessed Emily is the co-Founder of Cutter & Squidge, London's only all-natural bakery, delivering throughout the UK! She’ll be talking about business strategy and growth. Working with her co-founder sister and turning passion into a reality.
Hannah Beecham MBE
Hannah is the founder of RED January, an amazing community campaign that has helped hundreds of thousands of people across the UK move every day. She’ll be talking about the power of movement and mindset.
Iona Ratcliffe
Iona is the Founding Partner of award-winning Ocean Bottle, a social enterprise that sells reusable water bottles, cups and flasks made from recycled materials. She’s also a Brand & Marketing Consultant who’ll be sharing insight into brand strategy and social impact.
Sam Sheppard
Sam is a coach, keynote speaker and expert in authentic confidence for introverts. She’ll be talking about how we can be successful yet true to ourselves, communicate effectively, reframe limiting beliefs and Imposter Syndrome.
Caroline Blair
Presenter and podcaster Caroline will be hosting our sports panel. She’s the stadium announcer at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, host of Official Scottish Rugby Podcast and cover co-presenter on Forth 1's Boogie in the Morning.
Gemma Fay
Former Scotland goalkeeper and captain Gemma won her first cap aged 16. She’s now retired from the sport and joined Scottish Rugby as Head of Women and Girls Rugby.
Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international footballer Leanne has earned 72 international caps. Following her retirement from professional football, Leanne successfully transitioned into the media industry as a respected media pundit and co-commentator.
Sarah Law
Sarah is a former Scottish rugby player hailing from Penicuik. She recently retired this summer after being diagnosed with axial spondyloarthritis, a form of inflammatory arthritis.
